I made a trailer for the book today. Who even knew books had trailers? It took about six hours longer than it should have, and I'm actually waiting for it to maybe be exported in a fashion that will allow me to post it by the time I'm finished writing. (didn't happen).
I suppose while I wait I could tell you about visiting the nice Indian people in New York that gave me a very pretty and shiny sticker to put in my passport. The visa kinda looks like someone glued a Canadian dollar into my booklet (and that fucking mpg file is still processing).
Put some Dandy Warhols on the playlist. You should have a bit of it. Poppy sweet and dancy, but in a junky kinda way (so now I've got it at a really intolerable resolution. It just won't do).
The rest of the New York trip was pretty much spent walking up Broadway and checking shit out. Bought some really beautiful chop-sticks and coaster. We had to shop small because we did the distance from Philly to the city on the bus. The bus is a pretty cool way to finish off a long drive. You just sit back with your feet on the rung and ride (I'm sure the higher quality version will still look like crap and take twice as long to get up on-line).
I think I'm definately over the hump with this video. Now I just wait and give you whatever comes out next 'cause it's as good as it's gonna get (The store we bought the chopsticks in had these great year of the pig dolls that were the front legs and head of a pig on each end. The form will be showing up in my work, I'm sure).
Be assured it's still processing. I just checked. Don't think I didn't.
I also saw Ground Zero. Not the movie. The former site of the WTC.
Maybe I'll just post the shitty one for now. Even though the good one should look much better. Like watching my little dudes falling through the air.

I really like the smoke effect behind the hoppers. It gives them depth and makes them look building-size huge. The churchy/Oman music is a good choice as well.
Damn, I just wanna make vinyl toys out of all of your stuff.
so cool! books have trailers now!
