Yeah, I know this shit's tearing into my sidebar . . .
It's another design job. This is for a literary magazine called "Air in the Paragraph Line", deadlined for July 1st (I'm early for once). The theme was "Insanity". It took me a while to come up with a subject for Insanity that wasn't tired or cliche. I decided that "insanity" is how far you stray from the rest of the tribe. If the whole tribe is loony, then the sane person is the crazy one.
At first I was gonna have a single, unique person graphically breaking the pattern made by a large group where every individual looked identical. When I saw the group without the break, I realized it portrayed a very different flavor of insanity that terrified me much more than the "lone dude in the crowd" idea.
Yeah, those are copyright-non-infringment-style mickey mouse hats, USA camo and mickey's giant, yellow buttons.
But I mostly like the Choke Cola.
