some new work
Been printing long days lately. Just finished two for a show in August.
The original drawing:
10 screens of color later (and a couple of those runs were printed five times):
You can kinda see all the white on white drawings that cover the whole background:
And the other one in shiny bronze and green and red:

I was visited during my birthday morning tea (I'm out of coffee) by a golden turtle. That's gotta be a good sign. right?

your birthday!?!! i hope it was a happy one. or maybe more fair to hope for, a content one. personally, absolutely gloriously insanely factastic one is what i hope for you, but life, well, is life. fantastic seconds on the worst days, then beauty springing up from and despite unthinkable horrors, how can we expect one day to not be anything but what it is. i hope that the day of your birth the world somehow knew that (aside from yer mum and dad) it had birthed a wonderfully interesting kind and mischievous and silly intensely gifted person who i am forever lucky to call friend. one of my best ones too. know that you're loved. and your pre-show chaos looks awesome and spotless and perfect and beyond.
